Ulcer Index (UI) shows the volatility decrease risk. It indicates lowering volatility, i.e. a possible drawdown or recovery within a given period.

The indicator has three input parameters:

• Period - calculation period;
• Inverse pair - inverse calculation;
• Applied price - price used for calculations.
